D eep Cycle is a broadcast, installation, and publication centered around a
“post-oil” future. The project is illustrated here in Goldfarb’s schematic
drawings and plans. Deep Cycle’s fulcrum is the Mobile49, a retrofit emer-
gency communications truck, which has been present in much of Goldfarb’s work
of the past decade.

form of objects, improvised electronics, radio transmissions, publicaciones, y
performative situations. His ongoing project Mobile49, centers around a radio-
utility studio housed inside a converted emergency vehicle, drawing together
