Amina Abbas-Nazari is a designer and researcher.
She works as a research fellow at the Royal College
of Art investigating how open-source technology can
enable people new engagements and interactions with
wildlife and nature. She is also currently undertaking
a Techne funded PhD at RCA, in the School of

the themes of Artificial Intelligence and Voice.

Mahyar Arefi currently teaches urban design as an
international affiliate professor at the Jundi-Shapur

(1999–2016). Arefi has published extensively in the

Ilpo Koskinen has worked as a professor of design

Peter Gall Krogh is trained as an architect and a

interaction design both in doing and theorizing

Leon Lai is the co-designer for this Design Issues

Korolj, Leon co-founded studio Svima in Toronto
(2015), where he also teaches and manages the Design
Review Panel at Waterfront Toronto. He is a registered
architect whose work tackles questions at the scale

received the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada’s

Roland M. Mueller is Professor of Information

Robert Phillips is a designer, researcher, and senior
tutor at the Royal College of Art. His most recent
collaborative project with the Interaction Research
Studio, (www.mynaturewatch.net), used distributed
